About me

I have more than 10 years of experience in mental health and have worked in a range of mental health settings including an NHS specialist psychotherapy service and continue to work part-time in the NHS with a Complex Needs Service. My experiences have meant that I have worked with individuals presenting with a range of both common and complex mental health issues.

I have a background in medicine and psychiatry but had pursued psychotherapy early in my career, undertaking specialist training in medical psychotherapy where I have specialised in psychodynamic psychotherapy. I am currently a professional registrant with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) as a Medical Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and am also on the General Medical Council (GMC) specialist register for both General Psychiatry and Medical Psychotherapy.

I am currently also undertaking further advance training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy with the Severnside Institute for Psychotherapy.
